Jennifer Harris, dulcian
Jennifer Harris was born 1975 in Malmoe, Sweden. She first studied clarinet and composition at the Royal College of Music, Junior Department before going on to study harpsichord with Lucy Carolan at the Birmingham Conservatoire. After concluding her studies she went on to study bassoon, at the Hochschule fuer Musik in Trossingen (and afterwards at the Hochschule fuer Musik und darstellende Kunst, Frankfurt), where she completed a postgraduate in historical bassoon instruments with Christian Beuse.
Jennifer Harris is active in several orchestras and chamber music ensembles, performing and recording with groups such as Hannoversche Hofkapelle, Musica Alta Ripa, Lautten Compagney Berlin and La Banda.
She teaches historical bassoon at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversitaet (since 2009).
